The Commander allows comfortable control of the locos by it's two sensitively controllable speed-control knobs with end-position stop and two direction buttons each. The loco fotos and the tachometer on the display complete the comfortable and easy loco control.

For the very first time, the Commander is a digital system that an equilibrium between the comfortable control of locomotives and the switching of turnouts and signals. You operate turnouts and switches by the integrated coloured touchscreen track diagram control panel of the Commander. It shows the track diagram of your layout including all switches and signals. With a tip on the symbol, you directly switch signals and turnouts. Beyond it routes are illuminated in yellow and occupied track sections in red.

Turnouts and signals can be controlled as usual with decoders connected to the track power. It’s an easy and cheap method which guarantees also the compatibility to previous components. An interface for older systems allows using their command devices and decoders further on in a wide range of application together with the Commander.

Selection of Locomotives

• The easy-to-read locomotive selection allows immediate access to 8 trains - just touch and start!
• Further locomotives can easily be selected from lists - and if desired, your favourite locomotives are automatically put on top of the lists.
• The counter records the operating hours of all locomotives and reminds you of maintenance intervals.

Displaying train names on the track diagram. The Commander shows you, where the trains on your layout are. The route control of the Commander transfers the train names to the displaying fields. This is possible with single feedback encoders too (e. g. s88)!

RailCom® integrated - ready for the digital future! With RailCom® the Commander gets realtime information from the locos and specific decoders, e. g. etc. the actual speed of a loco or the actual position of a turnout.

Route control

• Train specific and secure control of routes. This works real prototypical e. g. for shuttle trains, shadow stations, block routes...
• Very flexible: Special functions as e. g. sound can be activated at dedicated positions on the track.

Track layout

• Simply edit the track with a finger or pen.
• Function symbols uch as turnouts are put into position with the control knob.
• 3 track plans with 128 x 64 fields each. 

Zoom-Function

• Enlarging the track plan in 4 steps.
• Move the visible section across the entire track plan with the navigator.

SpeedBus and Plug&Play

• New fast bus: The SpeedBus provides independently from the track signal all digital information more then ten times faster.
• The operation of many signals and switches at the same time is possible too.
• Quick and safe feedback via the SpeedBus.
• All devices connected to the SpeedBus register themselves at the Commander (autoconfiguration).

Convenient operation

All menus, editors (e.g. for track plans, routes etc.) are built for easy and inuitive operation. Only those actions are possible, that are permitted subject to the actual operational situation. Additional acoustic feedback is given during operation.
