5245 H0 Locomotive decoder with 8-pole interface plug

Miniature multi protocol locomotive decoder suitable for RailCom, DC, DCC (2 and 4 -digit addresses) and Märklin Motorola, with automatic protocol recognition. Adjustable minimum and maximum speeds as well as a freely programmable speed step table (28 steps), adjustable high frequency load regulation, also suitable for coreless motors, with 14, 28 and 128 speed steps and shunting mode. Drive current 0.5 A continuously, 0.8 A peak. 2 function outputs for lights depending on direction, with additional features: Function mapping, dimming, flashing. The max. current of the function outputs is 300 mA. All outputs are protected against overloading, in addition the decoder is protected against overheating. The decoder has a SUSI interface, as well as a connection for external energy storage, as soldering pads. Decoder identical to item 5296, but with 6-pole plug according to NEM 651 S. Dimensions: ca. L 1,56 x W 0,95 x H 0,21 cm (incl. plug).

The remote control facilitates the control of the CarMotion vehicles on the layout as well as a simple configuration of the vehicle. For this purpose the remote control is directed towards the front part of the vehicle where its infrared sensors are located. Distances larger than 50 cm require a very precise alignment of the remote control with the vehicle. Under favourable conditions a distance of up to 1 m is possible. The device is designed for a local control of the vehicles – driving on sight, so to speak. It can be used to start a vehicle – even from an active stop coil – and to stop it at any time. Furthermore, it is possible to set the vehicle speed and other vehicle functions such as lighting, blinking lights etc. For these basic configurations, it is not necessary to connect the vehicle to the programming device. Moreover, the remote control complements the vehicle control via the magnet arrangement underneath the roadway – thus the user can carry out complex operations and has further options to intervene.
