Basis CarMotion Basis Startset 8003
Ich war zuerst nicht so überzeugt von selbstfahrenden Automodellen. Aber jetzt bin ich total begeistert davon und jetzt wird das Modell auch noch wenn Lieferbar ist das Soundmodul installiert und für Induktionsladen aufgerüstet.

Enhance your CarMotion layout with in-vehicle sound effects. The retrofittable sound modules are vehicle-specific, ensuring they are mechanically, visually, and acoustically tailored to each model. These modules reproduce engine sounds for starting and stopping, as well as various driving-related sounds, such as gear changes, brake squeals, and depending on the vehicle type, even reverse warning signals. The horn, and if equipped, a siren, can also be activated. The engine sound volume is adjustable. The selectable and adjustable sounds can be controlled via remote control, DCC command, infrared command, or magnetic sequence. The circuit board of the sound module is easily connected to the vehicle‘s circuit board using a four-pin connector and secured with screws. The previous left-side components, such as the exhaust and air tanks, are replaced with the new components that house the speaker. The remote control facilitates the control of the CarMotion vehicles on the layout as well as a simple configuration of the vehicle. For this purpose the remote control is directed towards the front part of the vehicle where its infrared sensors are located. Distances larger than 50 cm require a very precise alignment of the remote control with the vehicle. Under favourable conditions a distance of up to 1 m is possible. The device is designed for a local control of the vehicles – driving on sight, so to speak. It can be used to start a vehicle – even from an active stop coil – and to stop it at any time. Furthermore, it is possible to set the vehicle speed and other vehicle functions such as lighting, blinking lights etc. For these basic configurations, it is not necessary to connect the vehicle to the programming device. Moreover, the remote control complements the vehicle control via the magnet arrangement underneath the roadway – thus the user can carry out complex operations and has further options to intervene.

With the programming device you can make various settings as well as software updates on your CarMotion trucks and buses. With an USB cable it is connected to the charging socket of the vehicle and to the USB-A socket of a computer or a hub, adapter or other. The user-friendly operating software communicates with the vehicle, provides information about the charging status, the distance travelled etc. Furthermore, it enables comfortable setting of various vehicle parameters such as speed, active functions, light brightness and many more. In particular, it is used for setting the desired reactions of the vehicles to the commands that can be triggered by the magnet arrangement in the roadway. Moreover, it is easy to copy configurations between vehicles.

The receiver coil enhances vehicles with inductive charging capabilities and necessary communication. It effortlessly clips onto the transmission block and is connected to the vehicle board through a two-pole plug connection.
