In 1996, Mercedes introduced the ACTROS series in different variants. This vehicle is equipped with an M cab. The two traffic lights are designed for simple traffic scenarios that require opposing signal patterns, such as in single-lane traffic control at construction sites or at a basic intersection to regulate traffic from a side street into a oneway street. The corresponding control module is intended for use with the IR Mini, item 8403, whose infrared commands allow CarMotion vehicles to stopp and start alternately at the lights. The light poles can be removed from their bases, enabling the lights to be mounted like standard traffic lights.
