3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) If you use the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. 6. Use of our webshop

(1) If you wish to place an order in our webshop, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide your personal data, which we require for the processing of your order. The provision of the data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Failure to provide the data means that no contract can be concluded. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. The only exceptions to this are our service partners that we need to fulfil the contractual relationship or service providers that we use as part of order processing. You can voluntarily create a customer account, through which we can save your data for future purchases. 6.1 Transfer of personal data to shipping service providers 

We use DHL Paket GmbH, Sträßchensweg 10, 53113 Bonn, Germany, as our shipping service provider. 

We pass on your e-mail address and/or telephone number to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR before delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or for delivery notification, provided that you have given your express consent to this during the ordering process. Otherwise, we will only pass on the name of the recipient and the delivery address to the provider for the purpose of delivery in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The information will only be passed on if this is necessary for the delivery of goods. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with the provider or notification of delivery is not possible. 

Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future from the controller named above or from the provider.

7. Newsletter

(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.

(2) We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after you have registered, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. We also store the IP addresses you use and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

(4) You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare your revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, by e-mail to info@viessmann-modell.com or by sending a message to the contact details given in the imprint.

8. Use of social media plug-ins

(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We give you the option of communicating directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned under 3. of this declaration is transmitted. In the case of Facebook, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is therefore transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). As the plug-in provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the grayed-out box.

(2) We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

(3) The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. We offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users via the plug-ins so that we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be assigned directly to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as this way you can avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

9.1 Responsible persons

9.3 Use of Insights

In connection with the operation of this Facebook page, we use Facebook's Insights function to obtain anonymized statistical data on the users of our Facebook page. Facebook Insights offers us, as the operator of the Facebook fan page, the opportunity to track and analyze interactions with you.

All data that is displayed and evaluated in Facebook Insights is used anonymously so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. It is not possible for administrators to access a user's personal profile data.

When using Insights, Facebook stores a cookie on the end device of the user who visits our Facebook page. The cookie contains a unique user code and is active for a period of two years unless it is deleted beforehand. The user code can be linked to the data of users who are registered with Facebook.

We cannot deactivate this function or prevent the generation and processing of data. Facebook provides us with the following data relating to our Facebook page for a selectable period of time and for the categories fans, subscribers, people reached and interacting people:

Total number of page views, "likes", page activity, post interactions, reach, video views, post reach, comments, shared content, replies, proportion of men and women, origin based on country and city, language, views and clicks in the store, clicks on route planner, clicks on telephone numbers.

Data on the Facebook groups linked to our Facebook page is also provided in this way. Due to the constant development of Facebook, the availability and processing of the data changes, so we refer you to the above-mentioned Facebook privacy policy for further details.

9.4 Processing purposes

The processing of the information is intended, among other things, to enable Facebook to improve its advertising system, which it distributes via its network. We use this data, which is available in aggregated form, to make our posts and activities on our Facebook page more attractive to users. For example, we use the distribution by age and gender for a customized approach and the preferred visiting times of the users for a time-optimized planning of our posts. Information about the type of end devices used by visitors helps us to adapt the visual design of our posts accordingly. In accordance with the Facebook terms of use, which every user has agreed to when creating a Facebook profile, we can identify the subscribers and fans of the page and view their profiles and other information shared by them.

Damit wir besser verstehen, wie wir mit unserer Facebook-Seite unsere Ziele besserer erreichen können, werden zudem anhand der erfassten Informationen auch demografische und geografische Auswertungen erstellt und uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir betreiben diese Facebook-Seite, um uns den Nutzern von Facebook sowie sonstigen interessierten Personen, die unsere Facebook-Seite besuchen zu präsentieren und mit diesen zu kommunizieren. 10. Einbindung von Google Maps

Purpose of processing: Together with our store software service provider, we evaluate certain information from our customer base under joint responsibility (e.g. customer group, pages visited, click paths, date and time of the visit, information about the end device used (resolution, resolution density, operating system), referrer URL, information about the browser used, locale, search queries and time zone).
