The InduktivCharger enables wireless recharging of vehicles through inductive communication. Vehicles come to a halt on the module and automatically position themselves over the charging coil, allowing charging currents to be self-regulated. These modules are particularly suitable for locations with longer dwell times, such as traffic lights or level crossings. Multiple modules can be interconnected to autonomously guide vehicles to charging positions with upcoming software updates. A control output for the motorized 2/3-way turnout, item 8448, which can also control servos, complements the capabilities. For trucks, the ratio of driving time to charging time is approximately 3 to 1, allowing for virtually unlimited driving time. The InduktivCharger can also switch vehicles with receiver coils on and off. These couplers base on the Fleischmann Profi plug-in coupling 6515 and provide power transmission up to 1 A each contact. They are also vertically self-centering, which effectively prevents unintended uncoupling (e. g. at the transition from horizontal track to a gradient). Uncoupling – even delayed uncoupling – is possible. This allows you to provide an easy power supply system for the entire train. As a result, pick-ups are not required for all coaches. This in turn reduces the load to be drawn by the locomotive. The couplers are equipped completely with 2 connection cables and fit into the standard NEM 362-coupling shaft. The thin cables (0,6 mm) allow a very easy mounting.
