The module offers an integrated digital decoder (Märklin-Motorola, NMRA-DCC) and is used to control 2 colour light signals (one home signal and one distant signal) with LEDs and a common plus pole or bulbs, provided they do not draw more than 200 mA in total. Therefore, it is suitable for all signal scales 0 up to Z (except for the Viessmann signals with multiplex-technology). It can be activated in conventional mode via the push-button panels items 5545, 5546 and 5547 or via a digital signal. It is equipped with Viessmann Signalbus and can be configured for the following applications:- 2 or several aspect colour light signal: A 2-aspect home signal with the aspects proceed and stop requires the push-button panel item 5547 (for 4 signals) or a digital address. A signal with 3 or 4 aspects with the additional aspects proceed slowly and shunting permitted requires the push-button panel item 5546 (3-aspect, 2 signals) resp. item 5545 (4-aspect, 2 signals) resp. a digital operation 2-aspect.- Distant signal or block signal: When configured as a block signal the module responds automatically to the status of the corresponding track sector. This works only in conjunction with track occupancy detectors with continuous output. Per signal sector up to 2 track sectors are required. In this mode the module changes automatically to proceed if the following sector is clear (unoccupied). If one of the two sectors is occupied, the module switches to stop. - Own distant signal or distant signal on the same mast: The signal module controls the main signal and the corresponding distant signal or the distant signal of a following main signal mounted on the same mast. In that case the distant signal will show the dark aspect when the main signal shows stop. - Interrupt track supply or switch on brake generator when stop aspect is shown: With the relay for automatic train control item 5228 the module can stop trains automatically either by interrupting the track voltage in front of the signal or – more prototypical – with the digital brake module item 5232 (Märklin Motorola) or a brake generator (for NMRA DCC). This makes it possible in both analogue and digital mode to control the track by sections.Signal with aspects stop and proceed slowly: If required you can configure the module to permit these two aspects only. In that case the module can be activated via the push-button panel item 5547 or a digital address. Regardless if the module is triggered by push buttons or track contacts the logic always assures that the red button has preference if two or more devices provide conflicting commands.

Control module with integrated digital decoder (MM/ DCC) is for 2 Viessmann home signals with multiplex-technology, e. g. Ks-signals items 4042 – 4046 and standard light signals items 4721 – 4728 and is the best control for Viessmann signal bridge item 4750 equipped with signal heads items 4750 – 4753. The module controls 2 independent home signals and automatically identifies the connected signals. In case that home- and distant signal are one unit (Hp/Vr- combination), the signal heads can be controlled separately with an own address. Block distances operation with track control. Viessmann SpeedBus (LSB) provides comfortable connection with Viessmann Commander. Connected signal is recognized and configurated accordingly. Module has no Signalbus but offers control of distant signal by free addresses. The module recognizes the task of home signal and controls the distant signal. Connection of the signal is done by only one track connection. Smooth change of lighting between the signal pictures and more features are adjustable. For automatic train control item 5227 relay, double, monostable, 2 x 2UM direct connection is possible.

Rail segments which are not monitored by timer track stop item 5208 or occupancy detector item 5233 should be supplied by this small module. It avoids the loss of feedback which could arise when rail vehicles drive across the insulations between the monitored and non-monitored rail segments. It also ensures that the voltage drop caused by the sensors of item 5233 is transferred to the non-monitored track, otherwise the trains would lose their speed when traversing between the rail segments.
available
Compatible with the s88. The feedback decoder can be used with the Märklin Interface, the Märklin Memory, Uhlenbrock Intellibox and Viessmann Commander. The 16 inputs of the module for track occupancy detection or for starting memory-switch sequences can be connected to the track contacts item 6840 or with Märklin K-and C-tracks directly to the contacts track section. Attached is a 15 cm length special cable and original s88 plugs. For 2 rail tracks the track occupancy detector item 5233 is recommended.
available
Compatible with Viessmann Commander, Märklin digital systems (Märklin-Interface and Memory), Uhlenbrock Intellibox and Fleischmann Twin-Center. The 8 inputs of the decoder can be connected directly to the rail segments and are suitable for displaying the occupancy of the segments or to trigger Märklin Memory- or Intellibox. IB-switch functions and routes in the commander are directly connectable to the controlled track sections. The integrated electronic sensors can detect any vehicle which consumes current (locomotives, coaches equipped with lights or with resistors) on the isolated rail segments. FFor this purpose the middle rail of a 3-rail system, or one of the rails of a 2-rail system has to be isolated. Optocouplers in the module increase the reliability of operation. Track voltage is supervised, so the occupancy information is preserved even after a blackout. A 15 cm long flat cable with s88 plug is attached.

Electronic circuitry for realistic operation of Viessmann fluorescent lighted lamps in all scales. Useable with LED lights, too. After switching on, the fluorescent tubes flicker for a prototypical time until they all reach full output and burn uniformly. Each lamp operates slightly differently. At one of the outputs a defect fluorescent lamp can be simulated. This tube will flicker in irregular intervals, sometimes lighting up quickly and other times very slowly. 5 separate outputs with different starting patterns. Each output can drive 3 lamps. We recommend connection of only one lamp to each output, since no 2 lamps will ever operate exactly the same way in reality. Switching on / off is effected via a separate momentary action switch, e. g. push-button panel item 5547.
