Tampon Printing
Tampon or Pad printing has been indispensable in the field of rolling materials for decades.
Of course, we have also used this technique more and more often for our new kibri vehicles. In the past, our vehicle kits were very often equipped with adhesive labels that the hobbyist could attach to the model himself.
We are moving with the times here and are increasingly using the pad printing process. The printing ink is absorbed by a silicone rubber and then printed onto the model with millimeter precision. Pad-printed models have a very high-quality appearance and the printing is very durable. Please pay attention to the corresponding pictogram when purchasing a model!
In this process, the printing ink is transferred to the model using a silicone rubber pad. Pad printing is particularly suitable for detailed surfaces such as the filigree kibri models.
