CarManager Setup 1.32 (Windows x64) (Binary file, 29.1 MB)
Publication date: 13.04.2026
Changes since 1.30:
- Added support for the rolling highway, featuring a new user interface for the IR Mini with settings and function descriptions. A rolling highway is a system in which road vehicles are carried on rail wagons for transport. To activate this mode, an IR Mini with at least version 1.08 is required.
- Added support for custom wheel sizes. By setting the wheel diameter, the parameters for speed and distance calculation are computed. Vehicle firmware version 1.48 or later is required.
- Macros 12, 13, and 14 can now be used with turnouts.
- When uploading a backup, it is now possible to select which parts of the memory should be preserved, for example the description or the DCC address.
- IR Mini: Added interface for analogue input delay.
- IR Mini: Improved clarity of traffic light operation modes, added a separate option for master/slave operation, and included a detailed user manual with additional connection examples for intersections.

CarManager 1.26 (MacOS version 13 or higher, Ventura) (Binary file, 51.19 MB)
Publication date: 13.04.2026
In newer versions of macOS (e.g. Ventura or Sonoma), Apple has further tightened its security mechanisms. The previous method using “ctrl + click → Open” therefore no longer works reliably.
Instead, proceed as follows:
- Try to launch the app normally (double-click).
- macOS will block the app and display a warning message.
- Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to the “Security” section.
- You will see a message indicating that the app was blocked.
- Click “Open Anyway”.
- Confirm the prompt again by clicking “Open”.
After that, the app will be allowed and can be opened normally in the future.

Vehicle Updates
-
Vehicle-Firmware V1.48 (Binary file, 0.02 MB)
Publication date: 13.04.2026
Changes since 1.44:
- Added support for the rolling highway. A rolling highway is a system in which road vehicles are carried on rail wagons for transport. To activate this mode, an IR Mini with at least version 1.08 is required.
- Added support for custom wheel sizes. Vehicles now use a flexible speed and distance calculation based on the wheel diameter, which can be configured in the CarManager.
- Improved DCC reliability. Due to optimisation issues, the previous version (1.44) had a lower detection rate of DCC commands with some command stations. This has now been fixed.
- Fixed a rare bug causing unintended lane switching when using inductive charging in combination with a South magnet. If a South magnet was used for braking before a charger and positioned such that, during charging, the following vehicle stopped exactly on the magnet due to the infrared adaptive cruise control, it could in rare cases interpret the single South magnet as two magnets and execute the corresponding command (lane switching by default).
- Encountering another South magnet while braking now extends the braking distance limit again. This behaviour existed previously but was accidentally removed in an earlier update.
- Corrected behaviour of switching off roof beacons during long stops. A previous update caused this option to switch off the turn indicators instead.
IR Mini Updates
-
IR Mini firmware version 1.08 (Binary file, 0.01 MB)
Publication date: 13.04.2026
Changes since 1.06:
- Added support for the rolling highway, featuring a new user interface for the IR Mini with settings and function descriptions. A rolling highway is a system in which road vehicles are carried on rail wagons for transport. The IR Mini can activate and deactivate this mode for vehicles and control various functions during operation.
- Added a configurable delay for the input wire. This can be found under “Finetuning” and is especially useful for rolling highway operation when controlled by track-occupancy detectors.
- Added support for the alternating mode of the 5099 traffic light as an input. If the 5099 traffic light is controlling the IR Mini, now the alternating mode of the 5099 can also be used. This enables the separate control of multiple IR Minis, so that each traffic direction has one, including support for T-junctions.
- Added configurable delay for vehicles in the traffic control operation mode.
InduktivCharger Updates
-
InduktivCharger firmware V1.10 (Binary file, 0.02 MB)
Publication date: 29.08.2025
1. New option for the output wires depending on the vehicle
There is a new option in the event settings, the output wires can switch automatically, depending on the properties of the detected vehicle.
2. Immediate completion of traffic lane switch for the vehicles
The option to complete a traffic lane change immediately can now be enabled individually for each charger, in the event settings.
3. Input wires in analog mode now support releasing the current vehicle
When a continuous signal is present on the red wire, a short pulse on the green wire will release the current vehicle, if one is present. Without the pulse on the green wire, the vehicle remains stopped indefinitely. This is useful for dioramas, where a visitor can start the vehicle with the press of a button, while everything stays idle otherwise.
