Information on the Software Update

To ensure that your Commander is always up to date, you can download new updates here. We recommend that you download the "Update information" for all updates so that you always have an up-to-date overview of the Commander's range of functions. You do not have to carry out the updates individually. For example, you can also update directly from version 1.000 to 1.011 etc.

Please note: All versions from 1.020 require version 1.018 beforehand.

Update made easy:

You can easily install the update on the Commander yourself. The update files contain everything you need. You do not need any additional software. When connecting the Commander to the PC for the first time, you must install the USB driver below.

Please note that the Microsoft .NET framework (2.0 or higher) must be installed on your PC, as the Commander Updater is based on this software. You can obtain this software package from the Microsoft website. The update files and the driver files are stored in compressed ZIP files.

To update your Commander:

  • Connect the switched-on Commander to the PC via USB cable.
  • Install the driver for the USB interface when connecting the Commander to the PC for the first time.

  • From version 1.021, you can transfer the latest software directly to your Commander without an intermediate update. After software version 1.021, it is not necessary to make up for every update.
  • It is sufficient to transfer the latest version, i.e. currently 1.402, directly to 1.021.

Attention: Be patient! Updating the Commander can take approx. 20 minutes. Do not interrupt the power supply to the Commander or the computer during the update process!
