8440 Receiver coil for retrofitting CarMotion trucks and buses, inductive charging

The InduktivCharger enables wireless recharging of vehicles through inductive communication. Vehicles come to a halt on the module and automatically position themselves over the charging coil, allowing charging currents to be self-regulated. These modules are particularly suitable for locations with longer dwell times, such as traffic lights or level crossings. Multiple modules can be interconnected to autonomously guide vehicles to charging positions. A control output for the motorized 2/3-way turnout, item 8448, which can also control servos, complements the capabilities. For trucks, the ratio of driving time to charging time is approximately 3 to 1, allowing for virtually unlimited driving time. The InduktivCharger can also switch vehicles with receiver coils on and off. Vehicles need to be retrofitted with the receiver coil, item 8440.Diameter charging coil: 40 mm, diameter electronics: 30 mm, height: 60 mm

This turnout is equipped with a powerful and low-noise drive featuring secure positioning achieved by a robust 10 mm motor with planetary gear. By rearranging the variable end stops, a left, right, or 3-way diversion can be selectively created. The electronics are housed compactly within the casing. The diverter can be controlled manually, via buttons/switches, through our IR Traffic, item 8404 or our InduktivCharger, item 8408, enabling digital control capabilities. Like the vehicles, the turnout can be comfortably configured in the CarManager.

In 1996, Mercedes introduced the ACTROS series in different variants. This vehicle is equipped with an M cab. The Universal Electronics Bus provides a compact solution for retrofitting vehicles with the proven driving characteristics of CarMotion trucks. The slim module (approx. W 12 x L 26 mm) is particularly suitable for confined installation situations and operates in conjunction with the H0 gear unit with motor, item 8426. Power is supplied through two 60 mAh batteries included in the set. The module is exclusively designed for use with this motor and batteries. An additional distribution board (approx. W 20 x L 7 mm) facilitates the connection of LEDs for lighting tasks and enables additional light effects. An expansion interface for additional modules is available. Included in the set: Reed contact, Hall sensor, charging and programming socket and 2 batteries. The lighting includes LEDs for the standard lighting of buses: Driver’s cabin (1 x white), front headlights (2 x white), taillight/brake light (4 x), turn signals (8 x yellow), reverse lights (2 x white), 2 IR transmitting diodes, and 2 IR receivers.All LEDs and sensors are pre-wired to ensure easy installation. Supplementary sets for additional light effects are also available.

This special point machine is a powerful, silent drive with its respective digital decoder for installation in Märklin and Trix C road bed points. The decoder is located in the cable making the drive particularly compact. The point machine stands out for the prototypical slow movement of the point blades. Speed and motion are controlled electronically and ensure a sensitive drive. If – due to the characteristics of your turnout – the direction of the turnout does not fit with the switching direction of the command station, it is possible to set the point motor to reverse mode. The associated decoder is suitable for DC/AC, MM and DCC and is able to send the requested position or the actual position by RailCom to corresponding digital command stations (e. g. Viessmann Commander item 5300/5320). Analogue mode is possible. Additional switching outputs for relays or LEDs and for a conventional feedback and frog polarisation complete the functions of the point machine.
