4554 switch motor + PECO switch

  • Hello,

I try to use 4554 switch motor with PECO turnout and I can't understand how it can work...

According to the motor manual, the 8 and 9 levers (combined) can move the turnout lever.
Actually, the way of the turnout lever is 3.5mm long and the window on the 9 lever is 5mm long.

So, the switch motor lever will move in the window, without moving the turnout lever.
There is no further information about this problem in the manual.

Can you tell me what should be done ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
    Sincerely
    Olivier

  • OK, thank you for your reply.

    No, it can't help.
I have read the switch motor manual (more than once) before trying to install it.

I have posted this question because the manual does NOT help to solve the problem that I have reported.
Actually, it seems that the 9 lever (which manual tells to use with Peco turnouts) is just not suitable with Peco turnouts... or can you explain how ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

  • Hallo Olivier,

I am sorry but i don´t have this Systems.
Does you know if Peco has 2 systems? The Deskription is for streamline.
Try to call the serviceline of Viessmann by phone.
    I don´t know more.
