Buying Car Motion Products

    Hi all,

    I live in the US and am planning an HO scale layout with trains and vehicles. After reviewing all of the automated car technologies it seems as though Car Motion is the better system. However, It is almost impossible to buy any Car Motion Products in the US or have then shipped to the US. I am planning a trip to Hamburg Germany and to Amsterdam at the end of August and am hoping to buy all the vehicles (or vehicle kits) that I can. I will be in Germany for about a week. I need help - I do not know where to start for ordering or buying products. The stores I have found online have almost no inventory of Car Motion products. I need recommendations on how to go about buying products.

    Wanting to buy: (complete vehicles or electronics to configure Faller vehicles)
    1-2 trucks
    1-2 vans
    1-2 buses
    1-2 cars

    I am also considering dc-car if I cannot get Viessmann products this year.

    I am now concluding that Viessmann Car motion is not a viable system to go with. I have received no replies on forums or from the stores I have tried to contact. I just don't know where to buy the products. The factory has very little in stock and the same for the online stores. I am thinking DC-Car is a better option. I would love some response here?!?

    I don't have DC-Car so I cannot comment on that, but in my opinion CarMotion is an excellent range of products. I agree it not easy to buy as stock seems to be slow to come on market, however it is possible. Use Google and you will find products. Some will also take off tax for overseas sales.

    Tip: As this is a predominantly German speaking forum you may get more replies if you post a translated question.
