More update problems

    Sorry to start a new thread but this is really frustrating.


    I successfully found the update files. I was at 1.015 and successfully updated to version 1.018 and then 1.020.


    But now I cant update any further. Any update i try I get the error message that it cant find a commander or its not in update mode. I have tried 1.021, 1.042 and so on but keep getting the same error.


    I reinstalled 1.020 and that worked!!! no error message... but straight after attempted 1.021 and the error message again.


    The logs for the 1.020 installed said the update was successful.


    Any ideas.

    have you USB treiber 2, too from the homepage? And the
    FDTI-driver? Is also there.
    Try to remove and connect the commander new.
    After 1.020 you can update to 1.103, you need not the other.


    On the home page are other Programmes like Backup, too.
    The Programm "Speicherbereinugung" you never need since 1.103

    Yes I have used the USB driver from the download page. I was able to go from 1.015 to 1.020 with no problems...with any other version I get the error message. I did 1.020 again and it was successful again....but again the later versions did not work.


    I dont understand why 2 updates work with the drivers but no other updates. I have also tried another computer but again unsucessful.

    the updateprocedure was changed after 1.020.
    Please see the informations on the homepage.
    You need framework.net 2 or higher.
    Try an other USB port.
    Put down the PC and try to connect the commander new.


    I don´t have any other ideas.
    Perhaps is there someone who has more ideas?

    I am convinced that this usb ftdi thing is just flawed. Since my last post I tried an update (1.021)and failed, I removed the usb cable before i shutdown the application, reinserted the cable, shut down the update and reran ver 1.02 which failed. the first time that it has. I then tried v1.021 and it WORKED.... Im now at the latest version 1.103. It makes no sense why it now works. or whether it will in the future

    With 1.103 you have a good version, wich works very good and stabil.
