QUESTION:
1) How to get feedback from RailCom Switch 4554 to Commander?
Must I connect it via RailCom detector 5303/5302?
Or i must connect it via Programming Track output of Commander?
The 4554 answers in the Railcom-Timeslot with a message indicating the received switching command.
However, these messages refer to an up to now not approved version of Railcom-Communication-Standard and may be subject to changes.
Before we come up with a Railcom-detector the Railcom-Standardisation-Group has to approve this Standard. This procedure, however, seems to be close to an end.
2) How to cancel second mooving of 4554 rod into middle position?
There is no way to avoid the return-movement. We have to provide the possibility for the turnouts to be move by the locomotive. Therefore the turnout-motor may not stop in the end-position, because then the the turnout would be blocked.
We only provide a small force to hold the turnout in the switched position by a tiny spring.
